Welcome to the Body Language website! Body Language is a business that offers two premium services. This privately owned business specializes in elite massage and bodywork therapy as well as providing quality continuing education to licensed massage therapist at an affordable price.
I have been doing massage and bodywork since 2003 and began teaching massage therapy in 2008. My philosophy toward bodywork is that: “Every Body Has Something to Say – All I do is Listen.”
With this mental and spiritual foundation, I am able to address every client and classroom participant with a specific empathy, purpose and intent, which is catered to meet that individual’s specific needs and expectations. I take extreme pride in being able to communicate and work well with others, allowing us to come together on common grounds and achieve common goals. Through assessment, palpation, attention to detail and most importantly, listening carefully to my client’s desires, I am able to make tremendous changes in their lives.
In addition to identifying physiological problems, I think it is equally important to educate my clients as to what might be going on in their daily living that may be contributing to these problems. From there, I devise a treatment protocol to address these conditions. The goal is to get these conditions stabilized and maintained through soft tissue manipulation (massage), and then through coaching life style changes and recommending stretches and strengthening exercises, we can get the treatments to hold and ultimately sustain this improved functionality.
